IT'S been a big year for Las Vegas outfit Panic at the Disco: they've dropped the exclamation mark from their name, modified their emo stylings and released a successful - and more pop-oriented - second album, Pretty. Odd after 2005 debut A Fever You Can't Sweat Out set them on the road to stardom. And now, in time for Christmas, comes a two-disc CD/DVD set, recorded during their Honda-sponsored tour. At 21 tracks, it's long, but the quartet faithfully reproduce their recorded sound and biggest hits, including Nine in the Afternoon and That Green Gentleman, and the occasional (mostly female-sounding) crowd interaction offers a sense of a live Panic show. But, like many live albums, this one is For The Fans. As is the DVD, which has a documentary about their lives on the road, live footage and a handful of their music videos. These youngsters have hardly been around long enough for most of us to be intrigued by their off-stage lives or on-tour antics, but their demographic of hardcore fans (read: teenage girls) will probably love it. -- KYLIE NORTHOVER
